However, as we experience life, move through ebbs and flows and ups and downs, this can cause a shift in our perspective, leave emotional wounds, and sometimes we start to believe things about ourselves that just aren’t true. As a result, we can become distorted from our true nature. This can present as anxiety, depression, self-doubt, negative and intrusive thoughts, and isolation to name a few. The inner work is in clearing these distortions, understanding the true nature of yourself, so you can return to who you truly are: awake, compassionate, and at peace. Together we can build the necessary tools and skills to improve your life. Trust that you hold all the inner strength to make the changes to heal, recover, and truly embrace your life.

Professional Experience

As a psychotherapist, yoga and meditation teacher, my passion and goal is to create a safe space to not only support your ability to cope with life’s struggles but also to find your inner wisdom to learn how to live a more authentic and wholehearted life. I offer a non-judgmental, compassionate, and encouraging environment to support you through whatever changes or difficulties you may be navigating. I believe in using a holistic approach, tailored to meet your needs, which is why I chose to work at Be Embodied where mindfulness, acceptance, and inner peace is highlighted. By utilizing mindfulness techniques, we emphasize the mind, body, soul connection. This develops deeper insight, healing, and restoration of the parts of yourself that you are struggling with.

My background includes working with a wide variety of mental health concerns and populations. I specialize in anxiety, panic attacks, depression, trauma, self-esteem, women’s empowerment, spiritual growth and all stress and adjustment related struggles. I utilize an eclectic approach of traditional and non-traditional mindful techniques including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Ego/Parts work, Emotional Freedom Technique, Somatic Movement, and Solution Focused Therapy. I am a certified 200 Hour Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Nidra, and Meditation and love to incorporate aspects of yoga philosophy into mental health. Together we can discover your own unique ingredients to reclaim the many rhythms of your individual healing.
